Last year, photographer Howard Kennedy came under fire  for a series of nude photos he shot in 2012 inside the 17th century Craigievar Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The National Trust for Scotland (NTS), which owns the castle, launched an investigation after complaints from Gabriel Forbes-Sempill, the daughter of Lord Sempill, who gifted the castle to The Trust. The NTS concluded it had never given Kennedy to shoot nudes in the castle. He says he was given permission and, notes DIY Photography, is now suing NTS for damaging his personal reputation. He is seeking £50,000 in libel damages.
